Crazy Life as A Family of 6

How many moms out there feel like they can barely get it all done, are running around trying to keep their heads above water? Guess what? You’re not alone! All moms are busy. I don’t care if you are a stay at home mom or working 60+ hours a week in the city. Kids make our lives busy and provide us with what seems to be a never ending list of tasks that we have to get done. Do I go to bed and lay there and think “ugh I forgot to move the laundry to the dryer, or did I put the lunchbox freezer blocks back in the freezer?” Yes, almost every night! Being a mom might have given us a lifetime of work, but it is a labor of love. We get a lifetime of joy out of being moms! I am not perfect – far from it. Some days I am just happy everyone is fed, bathed and in bed and that we survived another day.

          My husband and I have 4 kids, ages 13, 11, 9 & 4. One boy and 3 girls, with the youngest having a variety of food allergies. They play sports & are in extra curricular activities at school. Did I mention I sometimes feel like a taxi driver? If your kids are younger, just look what you get to look forward to! I am a stay at home mom that works from home in the real estate industry and am a book keeper for my husband’s small construction company. Oh yes, we also flip houses in all our downtime! I love to cook and really had to amp up the home cooking with the youngest having food allergies.

          This blog will be about all the variety of things I incorporate into our lives in an effort to keep it moving forward. There won’t be “look at my perfect family” posts. Anyways, aren’t all of our families perfect in our own eyes? 😊 You can expect to see recipes, DIY, food allergy posts, vacation tips/ ideas, mom recovery time ideas, product reviews etc. Welcome and I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
